Shipping Costs:

When you provide a postal code on the shopping cart checkout page, you will receive our most accurate shipping rate quote based on the items in your cart. We send your postal code and the cubic volume and weight of your order to the shipping company, and they provide the shipping quote directly to you. You will be charged the actual dollar value of the shipping quote displayed during checkout. Although we make every effort to ensure these quotes are accurate, we reserve the right to refuse orders with major discrepancies between the shipping quote and our actual shipping cost.

Oversized Items:

Items over two metres in length can not be shipped with Canada Post. Oversized items include:

  • Windsurf Boards
  • Windsurf Booms, Masts and Sails
  • Stand Up Paddle Boards
  • Surf boards

If you are purchasing an oversized item, we will do our best to find you the cheapest shipping rate. If we can provide a lower rate than quoted, we will pass on the savings. Within Canada, most oversized items are shipped with Purolator Ground. Stand up paddle boards are shipped by motor freight. Within Toronto and many Ontario cottage areas, Boardsports personnel may deliver windsurf and stand up paddle boards.

SUP and Windsurf Boards may not be able to be delivered to a residential address and may be delivered to the local shipping depot. Delivery to a residential address may result in a higher shipping cost.

Toronto SUP/Windsurf Delivery Service

If you are getting a stand up paddle or windsurf board and live in the city of Toronto you may be eligible for our $50.00 Toronto SUP and Windsurf board delivery service. If you would like to have a SUP or windsurf board delivered within Toronto just give us a call at 416-485-9463 and talk to one of our experts about your eligibility.

Order Processing Time and Expected Shipping Time:

Items that are in stock will be processed and shipped within one business day. Orders are held until all items are available to ship together unless otherwise specified. Orders are shipped Monday through Friday. We reserve the right to hold orders due to security concerns. You will receive an email notice when your order ships.

Order Processing and Shipping Delays:

In some cases there could be a delay in order processing times due to order security. These situations include:

  • Shipping address is different from the billing address.
  • Credit card does not match billing address.

Delays in shipping may also be due to problems with shipping companies such as weight and size restrictions.

Order Tracking:

When your order is shipped, you will receive an e-mail confirming your order was shipped, and will be provided with a tracking number. You can track all of your orders by logging in to your account at www.boardsports.ca

Picking up your package:

A delivery attempt will be made to the shipping address. Government issued ID (i.e. Drivers License) and Signature will be required. If no one is available at the address, a Delivery Notice card will be left at the door.

The Delivery Notice card is used to show that the item is available for pick up at a nearby post office. In case the Delivery Notice is lost or not received, you can also find out where to pick up your package by logging in to your account on the BOARDSPORTS website and viewing the order for tracking information.

The package will only be released to the person whose name is on the shipping label. That person will need ID to pick-up the package.

A Final Notice card will be sent to the addressee if the item has not been picked up after 5 calendar days. The item will be held at the post office for a total of 15 calendar days after which time it will be returned to Boardsports.

In rural areas, a delivery attempt will be made at the door when the door is within 0.5 km of the line of travel. Otherwise a Delivery Notice card will be left in the addressee’s mail receptacle.

Damage during shipping:

Make sure to inspect your package for damage before signing for it. We will do our best to pack it up tight. Contact us immediately if your package was damaged during shipping. Please keep all of the packaging materials.

ATTENTION:Some manufacturers wrap smaller parts/components (ie. fins and screws) in cardboard and/or bubble. It is possible to unintentionally discard these critical parts. This is frequently the case for: Windsurf boards, Stand Up Paddle Boards, Surf Boards, Kite Boards, as well as other products.

Lost Or Stolen Packages:

Before calling to report your package missing, please check your order status by logging in to your account at BOARDSPORTS.ca. If Canada Post attempted to deliver your order once, you may need to pick it up at your local Canada Post outlet.

If there hasn't been an attempted delivery and more days have passed than what is shown in the Expected Shipping Times section above, please contact us right away. We will open an investigation with Canada Post (or other shipping company) on your behalf. Canada Post investigations take up to five business days for orders shipped to a Canadian address, and up to 30 business days for orders shipped to addresses in the USA.

We cannot re-ship or refund your order during this waiting period as orders are usually found and delivered. If you cannot wait for the investigation to be completed, you will need to place a second order (paid in full). You may return the first order once it is received.

Found Orders: will be delivered to you immediately and the investigation will be closed. No further action is required.

Undeliverable Orders (Shipping, Labeling or Other Sender Error): Will be returned to sender (us) and we will re-ship it to you at no cost.

Undeliverable Orders (Address, Postal Code or Other Customer Checkout Error): Will be returned to sender (us) and we will re-ship your order on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of BOARDSPORTS.

Orders Declared Lost or Stolen: On a case-by-case basis we will either replace or refund your order at no additional cost to you.

International Orders:

BOARDSPORTS accepts orders from Continental United States. BOARDSPORTS does not accept orders from outside the Continental United States.

Additional import tariffs, duties, taxes, brokerage fees and any other costs related to order delivery are the customers responsibility. The customer is responsible for return freight charges should delivery be refused or undeliverable.
